The Orsini Fortress and The Orsini Palace. Inside these buildings the Civic Museum of Archaeology and the Orsini Palace Museum can be visited.

The open air Archaeological Museum “City of the living, City of the dead”, is a theme museum in the open air designed for educational and informative purposes. It is divided into two areas, “City of the living” with the reconstruction of a prehistoric hut and an archaic dwelling which demonstrates everyday life in Etruscan times, and “City of the Dead” at the Gradone necropolis area where real Etruscan tombs can be visited.

The magnificent arches of the Medici aqueduct. The panoramic view of the town is characterised by the two mighty arches of the Medici aqueduct, supported by an immense central column linked to thirteen smaller arches built by the Lorena family.

Historical centre. Developed around three almost parallel main streets, linked by a network of 60 narrow side streets, some of which lead to the outer edges of the rocky outcrop on which the medieval town is built. Hundreds of tunnels, wine cellars and passage ways are excavated directly in the rock below the houses and mostly date back to Etruscan times.

The Cathedral (Il Duomo), The Church of Santa Maria o San Rocco. The Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie.

Orsini's Park.

Etruscan Pathways (Le Vie Cave). Pitigliano is surrounded by Etruscan pathways, cut deep into the tufa rock. Some are more than a kilometre in length, and up to 20 metres in depth. These pathways often lead to Etruscan necropolis. The most impressive are those of Gradone, San Giuseppe, Fratenuti, San Rocco and Madonna delle Grazie.

Poggio Buco. A settlement in the Bronze Age, it later became one of the most important Etruscan cities along the valley of the river Fiora. The area has numerous fine examples of chamber tombs from the VII and VI century B.C.

The Jewish Cemetery. Synagogue, Ghetto and Jewish Museum. Visits to the Synagogue, The Museum of Jewish Culture and the Ghetto. On Saturdays and other Jewish festivities the Synagogue is open only for prayer.
